Little Ingebrigtsen temporarily lost her eyesight as a young adult and entered a world illustrated by darkness. Her imagination soon flourished as a way to provide a colorful world to sustain herself. While unable to see, her brain lived in a palette of dreamy-hued landscapes, enabling her to discover a land unmet.

Little Ingebrigtsen views photography as a way to construct a world mimicking the one she had encountered. She discovered that the psyche she had lived in during this time was fantastical. It was as if the landscapes she had just been wandering across were only a figment of her imagination and incapable of being found with working eyes. The images are familiar, yet otherworldly at the the same time, marked by their unreal colors and soft focus.
